A major theme in my life: “Your Thoughts Create Your Reality”. I keep repeating this over and over. People are in these fucked up situations full of drama and mayhem, blaming everything outside of themselves for their circumstances when in reality, they have created it.
Its a hard pill to swallow. I choked it down years ago. Its been a slow change because my mind was so conditioned to seeing the negative. Even now, I am reminded on a daily basis. Like in a conversation I had on the weather– Is it partly cloudy or partly sunny? We focus on the clouds don’t we? yup.
Stop trying to fix the past and healing what has already been done. The healing involves living for today, in the present moment and bringing focus to all of what is good in your life.
Most of what you are observing today is based on thought patterns of the past.
“Your thoughts create your reality.” The key link in this statement lies in the power of observation. What you are observing in your life, the focus and attention you bring to whatever you are viewing has a direct impact on what is coming into your life.
Look around. Are you seeing lack or abundance? It doesn’t matter if you have a million friends or a million dollars. If you are seeing an abundance of something, that thought brings forward more.
Are you lonely? Broke? Sad? Are you focusing on these things? Well, more of that shit will show up.
Are you giving off the wall feelings to the finding of a penny? Whahoo! I am rich.
Are you looking around counting all the amazing friendships in your life? Yes, you may have friends and relationships that are not so good but, focus on what you have.
Look for evidence of abundance in your life. The money, the friends, the family, the objects, the fun and, I swear, more of that will come.
